Thank God for your poetic voice, Eddie M... this piece is cautionary and important.

We humans become complacent, forgetful and worse, arrogant. Mother Nature will always find a way to put us in our place... she WILL be respected... and should be.

People tend to want to place blame for bad things... when it comes to nature, we are all in the 'same boat'... so we'd best learn to get along, eh? I agree with Eileen... we're not so tough! A great write! katy xox.

A powerful message here, Ed. Man truly is only another insignificant creature on this planet as far as Mother Nature is concerned. She can be quite benevolent, but she can also be quite cruel - like human beings, I guess.
