Again...

SNOW…

Snow, Mother Nature’s way of painting a landscape,

Doth for us approach from the frigid south,

To bring flakes to land on my tongue of my open mouth,

To give Rufuz a place to lay and feel cool and play…

Snow, Mother Nature’s way of cleaning the air,

Keeping for us an atmosphere so free and fair,

While summers heat doth bring warmth of no compare,

Winters cold and snow doth bring to us,

Weather, which we must for prepare…

Go out and buy some food, we must,

Milk and bread & rent a movie to over lust,

From inside our happy warm homes we can just,

Watch the snow come down, know that it is cold,

And enjoy our solitude; something we do find cannot be sold…

Must be why they call people snowed.

Oh, Eddie M... what a lovely, positive view of the inevitable whims of Mother Nature. We also have a white world, but, as you suggest she 'paints the world'... we're hoping that soon, she'll dig up her palette of pastels and spring will bloom again.

Remember: as your hair will grow back, so will the snow melt. Mother Nature makes those promises and she always keeps her promises. This is a sweet piece. Yay! katy xox

Brrrrr-brrrr! It's so cold...the brutal cold these past few days too in Toronto Canada, but the scenic was serene when you look out the window at its whiteness and purity...

Good write Ed!

B-r-r-r-r Snow!! It sure is pretty and it is good for the earth, but I prefer a warmer and drier climate. I'm glad Rufuz finds it to give him a new playground. I threw away my snow shovel when I left Ohio and have no intention of ever buying another one.
Take care,
Sherry

Our doggies love the snow too but we got ice here. Bear fell down the steps and then fell up the steps but he is okay.

To bring flakes to land on my tongue of my open mouth,

An excellent idea, Ed, and a heavy snowstorm can truly bring the solitude we sometimes need. If the snow is heavy enough, a very easy way to make a wonderful snowman, too. Just keep standing out there next to your motorhome with a carrot in your mouth, and you will eventually be completely covered over. And please ask Rufuz to get a picture of 'Frosty Ed the Snowman' for us. Thanks.

That's right - from the South we gave you the snow this time. We keep rising up and causing trouble, right? Stary cold, see if I care! - Bill

I love the snow, as long as I don't have to live in it. A few ski trips every year are enough for me.
