I actually enjoy driving in the snow for work or pleasure...even though it can be tiring, it is still the closest thing to an adventure I can get...ed

Poem Artwork

Here it comes…

On the roof it does lay,

On the cars and porches as well today,

Cannot see across the street,

Blizzard snows can be really neat…

Have to work through its worst,

Driving is no fun, but that is my curse,

Diving right in do I, headfirst,

If nothing else with snowflakes abundant,

I will never die of thirst…

Predicted to be blizzard conditions,

This storm does not resemble previous renditions,

Hate do I to write in repetition,

But the beauty of snow is too wonderful,

Not to make some sort of submission…

Looks as if it will be a long tiring day,

That is what I signed on for with this job this way,

To drive in the snow, sleet, wind and rain,

Some may say that I am a little insane…

You sound like a postal worker... ha!

Ok, this is poem 3 on snow, but I've read them backwards... "the beauty of snow" you write here? What next? You move to Alaska? the south pole? Sigh... sorry... it's me, not you... I'm still mentally with the rant poem... Snow, go away!

After all that, though, I must say I enjoyed the poetic nature of this piece... it's really nice writing, Eddie M. katy xox

of hot coffee, tea or chocolete,
I have what I need down here
back at the swamp
plenty of beer.
