To Capture the Sun…

Chasing the sun from rise to set,

Grabbing it like a ball is the closest you get,

Holding it for a short time before to hot you can bet,

Giving it away to the next time zone, you must do so, yes let…

Behind the clouds old sol does someday’ hide,

Peeking through when you are not looking,

Sometimes you do not get to see him at all,

You have felt his presence then denied,

Take this you must into stride,

For to chase and capture the sun, you must do so quite up high,

Best to attempt this feat at the continental divide…

Cannot hold onto old sol too long,

Better to hold him with a two-foot prong,

Actually quite better to never do so, for it is wrong,

To rob from the throngs,

The beauty of the suns song all yearlong…
