The Solstice is Upon Us…

Early tomorrow morning,

I did want to give you warning,

That the solstice does upon us come,

Summer will then arrive; be thee happy, not glum…

No difference will our lives be,

We will find ourselves able to later in the day see,

We won’t be hiding inside from the weather,

No longer will we be inside watching TV…

Outside our bodies will tan,

The heat and humidity will require a fan,

Our electric bills will go higher, though we don’t believe they can,

The summer will arrive to the northern hemisphere,

As it does every year, as it is Natures plan…

Some do celebrate the solstice,

From the heavens they do as well from the abyss,

Each and every year we celebrate & reminisce,

Ever since the summer solstice did start to exist…
