The heat has gotten to me...

Also though, Lil' Eddie K has had the heat affect his brain...or the lack thereof...;)

Okay so the heat is oppressive,

Yes I did say once I would not complain,

So not doing so in this poem, just hoping for rain,

Maybe the stuff Lil’ Eddie did get will come east,

Finally Mr. Kostro is now not such a dirty beast…

So many say it is not the heat but humidity,

Who ever came up with this little ditty,

Is gonna meet the business end of my right cross,

I hear it everyday and am tired of it,

The next person that says it will get hit,

Won’t be, as far as I am concerned, much of a loss…

Doesn’t take much to spark a fire of anger,

Though I do try to stay subdued,

Just livin’ in the air conditioning,

Drinking lots of water & like Mr. K., swimming in the nude…

It's the humidity! It's the humidity! Go ahead... I dare ya! hehehe

"hoping for rain" Ahhhhh... that's the stuff, Eddie M. I knew you'd see it my way eventually. Wheeeeeeee...

I can't argue with the heat making us mean and crabby. I have 'cabin fever' much worse now than in the cold. If you're going to swim nude I'll load the KOdak... just a sec... OK... everybody outta the pool! katy xox

I used to swim but this one legged guy kept coming after me with a harpoon.

I guess you're now gonna beat Little Eddie up, but it is the humidity, it really is! I can golf in Vegas when it's 110 very dry degrees out there; and when I'm on the east coast, especially in DC, I hate venturing outside my hotel when it's 85 HUMID degrees - it's a killer.

PS Welcome to Nude Swimming - it's marvelous!

It is summertime I don't understand why everyone, including the stupid "meteorologist" on TV go one and on about how hot it is. It is summertime, I repeat. Next winter these "meteorologist" will go on and on about the record cold temperatures as though they are surprised. These "meteorologist" don't seem to be able to be happy unless they bring gloom and doom to the world with their damn forcasts.

What did people do before air conditioning? It must have been horrific for them. Hotter'n Georgia Asphalt here! Haven't been outside for 2 days. Hope it breaks soon. Hope you wait 'til dark to do your nude swimming...lol..lol

But really Ed...its not the heat that gets you, but the humidity...LOL unfortuately for me at work...no air..just heat from the plants ovens...over 120 degrees...and yes...the humidity too. As far as the swim goes...that is the only way to go.
