Chilled

Winter temps making their debut,
Not for long will they last,
By mid day you can say to them adieu...

Poem Artwork

Chilled, as well as shaken,

My knees are knockin’,

My teeth chatterin’,

Got goose pimples all over…

Boy, did it get brisk overnight,

Frost on the leaves, the birds take flight,

Expect to see ice on the creek,

Rufuz though loves it, this sudden chill,

For some its time for the heater,

For others its time to move to Brazil…

Jackets and long pants out of the closet,

Though don’t let Nature fool ya,

This is just winter making a small deposit,

For the day will be humid & supposedly hot,

In a few hours the cold will be but a nasty memory,

Winter clothes will be shed; last night will be forgot…

Terrorforming Your Environment by RickthePoetWarrior

Never to leave well enough alone our attempts at managing our society, culture, and environment are recycled, re-used, and just generally regurgitated
