Poem Artwork

From my lonely perch,

I do fish for minnows and perch,

Crabs will do though they pinch my beak,

Anything will do as I just in general seek to eat…

Mans world does me surround,

No place to go, man does everywhere abound,

Bread I do get every now and then,

Other times I must of sand pound…

I do live to eat,

Carnivorous I am as I do eat meat,

My world is this for now my perch,

I dream of my next meal,

Though I sometimes wish I were a seal…

This poem reminds me of Jonathan. It was a book about a seagull. I am sure, Jonathan, felt like that as times too. Excellant Write.
