Sleeping under the sky, Staring up to wonder why, Why can birds fly, Only humans get high… Enjoy do I, A canopy bed of clouds, No death can then come my way, No life’s end under shrouds… Why is the sky blue, What brings on this hue, Need to get myself a clue, The sky is there for all to review… So many questions that ask why, So much to learn about the sky, To be free and happy one must learn, For to be as such I do quite seriously yearn… © ed ~ 1/31/06

Begin the meditation today. Seriously, there is an interesting thing to do, if you haven't heard of it. Lie flat on your back and stare into a cloud-free sky. It will not be long before your thought process has succumbed to the realization that you are a very, very tiny part of this world and its univers. Sobering excerise. Try it when the weather lets up.
