In this year who will have won,

Will Nature with man have become one,

Or will she of man still shun,

Hopefully not burned out will be our sun…

Will man have conquered the elements,

Or will he of his past wrongs, repent,

Will Nature accept his apologies,

Or will she with man still torment…?

Past differences forgotten,

No longer will man treat Nature rotten,

A birth between the two, misbegotten,

A marriage may not between the two be gotten,

But both will benefit, Nature and man, their differences forgotten…
