Even with a/c on full blast,

I do not need a shirt, the heat seems to last,

Funny though how the heat does dissipate so fast,

Just showing with the above the differences in contrast…

Shivering under a sheet or even light blanket,

Much better than sleeping in relative air conditioned comfort,

Better as well than going to a cool resort,

Could be as well a long drive as flying is a relatively unsafe transport…

Ah, such weather as I could only wish for has taken me by surprise,

With being on vacation I don’t see weather reports,

Nor do I fortunately eat French fries,

While on vacation I seem to be someone in disguise,

I hope, but know better, this weather does not soon die…
