The tops of the trees blew, So did the leaves too, Flags unfurled dotting the sky, Clouds passing us by� A wisp on the ground we did feel, Our love of Nature was sealed, My feelings of Nature today surreal, The wind through tiny apertures does squeal� Passing us by to go I know not where, Cutting through us, hopefully warm the clothing we wear, Nothing in Nature this day to beware, The sun out, clouds playing in the sky, all is well and fair�J � ed ~ 2/9/07

It sounds like nearly springtime weather, Ed. It has been in the 60's here in the daytime and because of the elevation and no inversion layer, it feels like 70's. It has been a crazy mixed up season this year, one week to the next as different as night and day.

The wind is free. If I could be a part of nature I would choose to be the wind.This is a wonderful poem to think by.

Nice last line, Ed. Refreshingly echoed that line from Dear Prudence: 'The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful...'
I'll leave the last clause out - it was directed at Mia Farrow.

Now you got me singing the song in my head now. MOUSE SCOUTS! BRING OUT THE BOTTLE!
