Poem Artwork

Just one to smoke my pipe,

I can’t find one, that’s my gripe,

Want to feel as usual high, quite ripe…

What else can I use,

Maybe some papers, if you’ll of me excuse,

I cleaned out my pipe that’s the big news,

Gonna get a killer buzz, but without the screen,

I am gonna be getting a case of the killer blues…

Neighbors all asleep,

Geez, I’m gonna start to weep,

Just one lousy little screen…

…Screen found, now I won’t have to scream…

Try the tea screens for use when brewing. I'm assuming that'll work.Just trying to help in my ignorant, blonde way!

"Want to feel as usual high, quite ripe…"

You got gas dude? Or is it Rufus sneaking out the silent but deadlys?
How much time was there between the last line and the second to last line?

Happy Birthday Ed!

P.S. Poor Cedric below needs to smoke a bowl with ya'll!

im not 100% your point in writing this piece is very clear.
is it the pipe you dont have or the screen? one would assume from your title you mean screen but what is its relevance?
your ideas seem disjointed to me and i just cannot find any sense in it.

maybe writing it without the aid of rhyme would help you to make more of an impact through this piece. some of your rhyme strikes me as a little forced in places [and screen doesnt rhyme at all in the middle stanza]

but good luck.
