When I was but a little tyke,
Dolphins did feed off our beach,
So many times did we watch them,
Come up to breath & jump high,
I used to wish they could fly…
As I grew older, the dolphins disappeared,
Some said it was pollution that drove them away,
I felt really bad seeing them no more,
Of these beautiful sea creatures I revered…
Just yesterday off of Wildwood & Cape May beaches,
The dolphins in a large pod did return,
Such beauty & finesse they exhibited,
I did return in my mind to my childhood time,
I hope that means the ocean is getting cleaner,
For more of them to see I do sincerely yearn…

About 4 years ago, down there . SEA ISLE saw a dorsal fin & rushed to tell lifeguard -
he said NO - THEY'RE DOLPHINS - SEE THEM FREQUENTLY --- TK.
Perhaps we are starting to clean up our mess. I could feel your passion and reminsence of childhood in this, it's excellent. And may we see many more dolphins in years to come.
