What could make the sky so glum, That she cries for hours without let up, Dark clouds have from the south come, On my roof it sounds like a drum… So depressed she does sound, Tears so heavy she saturates the ground, To walk, water wings we need, Then again, her tears do of Nature feed… Pouring down, Some things may drown, With her tears does come a frown, Sometimes though tears can be the talk of the town… *© ed 11/24/08**

Very nice capture of rain and the meaning it has for you, I always loved the sound of rain on a tin roof and at my camp would sit for hours reading, listening to the rain and hoping for some thunder and lighting.

Bet she's crying, because Allen is fixing to say his final goodbyes to Leah ... and she wanted you to share in ... just a thought. Supposed to rain here Wednesday night through Friday morning, maybe she is visiting all of us who love Allen so much. :( I feel so bad for him ... a lovely write, Ed, you set quite a mood.
