Deep freeze we’ve of late had,
Pipes freezin’ been really bad,
Very little snow though, Rufuz sad,
Able to keep my car clean, makes me glad…
Forty-five degrees,
Ain’t that the bee’s knees,
Everything did defrost,
Windows open to air out,
The cold on its way here,
Must have gotten lost…
It ain’t the tropics,
But warmer air a better topic,
Two days of warmth out of a hundred,
May seem to you only microscopic,
But to us it feels like spring,
Next week again we will feel the winters sting…
