A VERY rude awakening...

Sometimes Nature can be so violent...

7:20am---BOOM, BOOM! No warning, nickel to quarter sized hail, Rufuz into my bed did bound, The rain REALLY came flowing down, Torrents like a river, wind driven… As well & at the same time, Thunder and lightening, Rufuz did whine, I held him tight, who’s comforting who, There are sometimes when living in a “trailer”, Has its disadvantages, which one of us would be first to bail… He is such a strong guy, he protects me & our home, But in storms such as these, he seems to revert to a puppy, Cowering in my bed with his toy ducky and me… 8:20am---No more boom, boom, The worst of the storm over, Rufuz back to his normal self, I really hate being awakened so rudely… © ed & Rufuz [WOW] 4/6/09

Great descriptive write, Ed, I know how you feel,it's supposed to rain here the rest of this week, and it started off unexpected like you wrote going from warm and clear to dark and stormy in a matter of minutes I jmagine it must be much more intense in a trailer...glad you have Rufuz, and vice versa;-)...ET...

I didn't dood it, Ed and Rufuz, promise! Living in a trailer would be the end of me, especially here in "The Alley" (Tornado Alley) - only way I would live in one is if I had a basement, UNDER - glad you're okay! I know just how Rufuz feels when awakened by a lightning and thunder barage ... scared spitless! (((HUGS))) and love to both of yas.
