From darkened clouds, It does fall on partying crowds, Cleaning the air & knocking down the dust, Creating, but not quite right away, rust… Thunder, lightening & heavy drops, Could be this storm may be for us the tops, Thunderhead clouds billowing so high, Like feeling wet tears when heaven does cry… High humidity & even higher heat, Don’t walk on the street, bad for feet, Then the cooling rain does approach from the west, Welcome to join us it is, yes a MOST welcome guest… © ed ~ 5/13/10

Sounds good to me, Ed...both the rain and your po'try! Think I'll turn on my sprinklers and go sit 'neath 'em, since rain keeps side-steppin' around me :o) Just too dang hot!!

... makes me think of Woodstock, or, closer to home, Glastonbury Festivals - seriously, year on year it just gets totally DELUGED and I have never seen rain like it. Good for wellington boot sales but a total no-no for the amps and electrical equipment. No, rain and rust never do sleep.... as dear old Neil Young constantly reminds us... Like dewdrops on a parched tongue so this write is... could do with a few more rays this way, myself... if you're fed up with them, that is... xxx

Albuquerque is hot and dry. What we wouldn't give for some refreshing rain, not buckets - just enough to not have to water for a few days.
