Poem Artwork

Where I go to de-stress,

What I see when there,

How I feel when I leave,

Completely decompressed…

My ocean, my sea, my mother,

No place like this, not another,

With salt air & water & smell,

There I am happy to let it all,

Of me smother…

My place of re-birth,

The only place I find of worth,

Yes, the only place on this earth…

I'm totally with you, Ed!!!! There's no place on the face of this earth where my soul finds the solace it does beside the ocean!

I can really relate to this,I spent yesterday lazing beside Kelly's Beach (Queensland Australia) the sound of the waves lullabyed me and I drifted away...ahh the ocean and the sky and the sounds of nature are a perfecct escape and it is all there in your very true poem.
