February first, No need for any to have cursed, Twas a beautiful day, The winter can this way stay… 65 degrees, short sleeve weather, Even short pants & running through the heather, I hope the next few days hang on to today with a tether, Because I could get used to these temps howsoever… Windows open, heaters off, In this kind of day I could get lost, No dressing in layers, For this continued weather, I am going to keep saying my prayers…

Your poem sounds like my neck of the woods. Had to use a coat in early December, but have been getting around either in shirt sleeves or a light jacket. Nice weather, but New Mexico could sure use the moisture. Here's hoping to snow or rain, so we don't have to worry about fires this summer.

It's called 'Global Warming' or 'Climate Change' but don't tell anyone; our 'leaders' want us to believe that it's just a very warm winter.

I'd say it's a global warning. Nice weather is not always so nice. Although I am enjoying a shirtsleeve day here with a few welcome showers in our drought. Regis is right. There is much to be concerned about. And then again, in my grade school days I remember shirtsleeve weather in January in Wisconsin. I had a friend that even started his tan early.

It is nice weather yes, that is true. It is also not "normal" and here, the snowpack is getting thinner every year as are the glaciers. I don't think that's a good thing. Still, I am glad for you that you are enjoying your break from winter's "normal" wrath. Love and peace,
