The heat will out of you knock the starch,

Unusual weather we’re havin’ain’t it,

An oven without air conditioning in the old rig,

Time for a pool, guess I’ll have to dig…

 

Cooling off for the weekend,

Don’t want to of mom Nature offend,

But the heat we have had this few days past,

I am really happy it ain’t gonna last…

 

All the windows open,

Even then no circulation,

Unusual for this location,

Already I am, for summer,

Waiting for its cessation…J

It was summer here in maritime Canada last week too...but it's back to spring this week.....

I'm always for summer, good write Ed, descriptive in content, and nice to read and think about how i'm going to spend the summer, mostly at the local pool to get my tan for England in August. you sure can put words here that i can relate to.

You remind me of my Mother-in-law. Just can't please the old gal. She's too hot when it gets above 82 degrees and too cold when it gets below 78. Better get that A/C working, you got a long hot summer coming…. Dick

We've had the heat too, but its welcomed after a cold winter. Today..rain. I'm the only person I know who loves the rain.

Guess you're a bit like me, struggling with heat and miserable when cold and wet. It's rarely a happy medium, which would of course be perfect.
