I most certainly did,

All that hype about snow,

Calling for inches plus,

And all we got was rain,

The weatherperson made a big mistake,

That is most certain and plain…

Gonna be in the fifties all next week,

So even if we did have snow,

It would have been quite weak,

The winters last hurrah a bust,

Though we did have predicted winds,

With a seventy mile per hour gust…

I gotta admit, I enjoyed the wind,

The camper shook & the trees swayed,

Like mother Nature did of man discipline,

So many went out and shopped,

Of the coming weather they were afraid,

Those that make the hype, did of us all betray…

Thank goodness the storm wasn't too bad, Ed...we got a bit of wind from it, but no snow thankfully! Have a great weekend my friend!

Meteorology is an imprecise science. Tomorrow you'll be shoveling, “4 inches of 'partly cloudy' off your driveway.” ;-)

PS. I hate the wind. It is slowly eroding my soul.
