In the middle of the wood...

If you look close enough you will see a home there in the middle of the wood, just to the left of center...

Poem Artwork

There is my home in the middle of the wood,

In the right place it is, right where to be it should,

Amongst all those trees it has a long time stood,

Wish I may, wish I might, live there forever, how I wish I could…

It is not near my sea,

But it would be for just me,

Solar panels for electric, so I can live for free,

Sitting on the porch, smoking a bone, my dog & me…

Awesome may not be the right word,

On the porch with my binoculars at hand,

Just in case I see a pretty colored bird,

Listening to easy music from my favorite band…

Wonderful, wistful thinking. So glad to see you in a good mood. I posted a picture just like that of my brother's log home at a distance yesterday on a PowerPoint presentation of him building it. You can see it on my website or download the PowerPoint. RonHullauthor.com Look for him in the spa that he just got installed this past weekend.

In case you think that he is blessed, for all his hard work, a divorce and loss of a long time high paying job, plus the economic downturn has caused him to lose a million dollar home to foreclosure and this vacation and retirement property in jeopardy because of expensive multiple mortgages.

Right now he's enjoying it while it lasts.
