Mother Ocean is Calling...

I will think of you all when I am swimming in the wonderful, wild ocean today...

Poem Artwork

She says there are waves to board,

On the beach today I won’t be bored,

By the time you read this I will be halfway there toward,

My favorite beach, my Mother ocean, to then ride the waves,

On my short little boogie board…J

The weather supposed to be most delightful,

Mom ocean says she is quite warm,

The air temp too like summer at ninety,

Though there could be some strong rips,

That out into the ocean further could of me pull…J

This will likely be my last, for this summer, swim,

The cooler weather is approaching, just to the west beyond the rim,

But I don’t feel about this in anyway grim,

For today I do this on a wonderful & happy whim…J

That looks like a 600 lb. killer whale riding the wave. Better stay out there another month or so till the blubber wears thin. :)

It seemed just a couple of days ago that you were complaining about the cold. Which just goes to show that the weather changes. It appears you are catching both the temperature and the crest of the waves at just the right time.

Stay warm and don't wipe out!

And it sounds wonderful to me,
Though in a wet suit I would be.
