Angry Mom...

Poem Artwork

Her waves to the shore do reach,

Her winds to man do teach,

He anger against humanity,

Taken out on this her beach…

 

Pounding the sandy shore,

Her ocean does against man roar,

Between man and she it is a war,

Not tonight will man in bed be able to sleep & snore…

 

Her wrath does in the end clean,

The skies will be blue, the beach grass green,

To the shore she will bring back Natures sheen,

I could have told you of this storm in advance,

For I have the ability to predict said storm,

Anything from Nature to me, easily forseen…

As I recall, she do take away your sand. No matter how much people spend on hauling sand to replenish Eastern shore beaches, good old mother nature is going to take it away, faster then we can buy more sand and put it down. Pretty soon, that beach will be lapping at your motorhome door and you won't have to drive there anymore.

I never get to see the Jersey coast.
Strange that I can spend so much time on the Maine coast.
Oh well- you gave me the experience.

I've never seen the east coast, and every time you write about it, I want to see it more. I believe people like you probably are better weather predictors for your own area!

So, you're in tight with Mother Nature, huh? Seriously, My nieces who live on the bay in R.I. can tell what's coming from the waves and wind off the ocean as well. I love going there to stay with them every once in awhile.
