The rain is finally past, Today should be its last.

Winter is thankfully past, Spring has not yet seen its last, Another summer approaches, Hot weather doth encroaches… We have been in the northeast, Experiencing much weather wet, For over a week inside looking out, I’ve set, Finally though the rain is ending, at least… The sun is actually rising, The clouds do move away quite slow, All plants for the ripe season do grow, Now that we are past our monsoonal flow. © -ed- 5/20/18

Yes, here in N.E. Ohio, we've had a few nice days after those monsoons....looking cloudy, wind from the South, going to get more rain!!

Like your poem suggests, most people pay little attention to their health until something serious arrives. That is sad. The beauty of universal government health insurance would be that everyone, including young people would have regular health checkups rather than wait until middle age when health problems start appear.

Yep, y'all have been hit pretty hard with the wet stuff. If it got any worse, you might have to turn that hearse into a boat and paddle out the windows.
