“Raining Leaves”
When the wind blows, ever so lightly,
The leaves fall from the trees like rain,
Landing atop the grassy ground,
Making it oh so nice to walk barefoot through.
When the wind blows, oh so hard,
The leaves falling from the trees,
Are like feathers floating down from the wings of angels,
Blown by the wind, they create swirls of tornadic leaves,
Oh so beautiful to observe, with their multi-colored hues.
Nature prepares herself and her creations to face the cold winter months,
But, in the process of the preparations, she creates such beauty…
