The only allergy I got, and it has to be to gravity...gotta go live on the moon, gravity is different there...ed

Allergic To Gravity…

Can’t seem to walk without falling,

‘Specially when drinking or smoking,

Maybe I would do better at crawling,

As I would be closer to the ground,

So when I fall my cries of pain, they won’t astound.

The doctor in the emergency room,

Seeing my obviously broken toe,

Asked if I had any allergies,

I said only one,

And that is the problem,

I’m allergic to gravity,

Damn box was not supposed to fall on me.

If this poem did make you feel,

A little pity for this guy that now needs to kneel,

As to walk he has that one problem,

Don’t be so quick to judge,

As this poem is meant only to nudge,

You in the direction of laughter,

As I only want, as always, to make you laugh,

Laughter can take away pain they say,

Or make it less hurtful along the way…

OW!! PAIN LINES! Felt every bit of it in this painful write; thank GOD i have never busted my toe, but i DID break my pinkie when I was eight: slammed a garage door on it, and now it has arthritis in it, and it is crooked. Can't straighten it out for the life of me! LOL I remember the pain; I shall never forget it! And I also chipped my front tooth when I fell on a cement cellar door; that was NOT a good year for me! I remember the pain from that one too, and the blood; that was SCARY!!! (((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :(

i feel your pain, sweetie *kotc*

(((HUGS))) and love,

karla.
