“From My Bedroom Window”
Awesome puffy clouds, rimmed with sunlight,
Towering over the pine trees so green,
Like a gathering, below, of a crowd,
Clouds are dark on this the earth side,
But brightly lit & white where the sun resides,
All framed by blue,
Such perfection can only be Natures hue.
Dead leaves of brown,
Covering grass & dirt,
Puddles from recent downpours,
Brackish creek, unfortunately, laden with mans trash,
Dear man, how can you be so rash?
Campsites now empty,
As winter winds constantly blow,
Too cold to live in a trailer,
Let alone a tent, one step below.
Snow flurries fall, to warm to lay,
On this Christmas, a very pretty day,
But flurries lend to this special season,
An old desire of a Christmas white.
Such weather is so nice,
Especially in the daytime light,
Much easier to see and enjoy,
As in the daylight they seem to fall just right…
