Okay, may not seem too funny but it is, once you allow yourself to see & SMELL the humor! LOL!

PHEW, Septic Tank is Overflowing Again…

We live on a site,

With a septic tank on the side,

It can emit one hell of a stench,

When over filled with…well you know?!

I have to call the office,

To have them come and pump it,

But till that time, the smell is really something,

Yeah, something like living in a f***ing sewer plant,

Sorry to use this poem as a place for this particular rant,

But as it gets ripe outside,

The smell can come in through the heater!

And trust me when I say,

This is not a nice place to feel Christmas cheer,

But for this one day of the year,

I will allow for this problem,

As I hate to call out the cherry wagon,

To pump out the tank and make my yard again, less,

By the locals, feared.

Hell, it can get so bad that it brings from me a tear,

But actually I can stand it,

As it reminds me of living at the shore,

The memory of the marsh gas is, oh so clear…
