You drcide.
Decision Every day... in every way we are compelled to make instant decisions. Everything has to be either this or that. The choice is ours. Things like... cash or credit... paper or plastic... for here or to go... in or out... up or down... on or off... stop or go. Then there is your place or mine... but that is a whole new chapter. As we age we sometimes loose our ability to choose. The choice is predetermined. I refer to things like remembering, for instance. sometimes we can... sometimes we can't. We have no choice. The journey most will travel. The loss of choice the biggest fear for most.

I see little humor, but a lot of wisdom. There are certainly a lot of choices in life. And the choices we make tend to steer us in the direction we will go. However, as you have said, sometimes we get, "between a rock and a hard place," and have no choice at all.
