"The essence of beauty is not in seeing but in experiencing it"
I sneaked out one day to have a peak
At the little beach by the noisy creek
Which rumbles and flows through soothing expands
To the sea waiting awhile with open arms
With naughty pranks this way that way it rolls
Teasing fishermen scurrying with their haul
A common everyday sight is the sunset at sea
As the majestic Sun alights in the west
This solitary sojourning stroll
Globetrotting back and forth it moves
I stood to watch now the reluctant Sun
Slowly meandering through the evening sky
Bit by bit to drop until the bright ruby head
No more burning hot and spewing heat
In between trees, skyscrapers , hilly terrains it hides
I looked at the birds fly in a curl in rows
Flapping at wings to swirl in sky
Proudly display with turns and twists
Perch on wet shrubs ,to roost and prey
I see the crowd hurriedly walk past to deck
The ferry that takes them across with a jerk
To home and hearth to rest for a while
Magical happenings through lives go on
At times serene, or a pattern so dark
But he dares them all to carry on
Much like the varied colors in the canvas of sky
When the Sun sweetly winks with expressive eyes
It sips and slips in meek surrender to the forces of nature
Now bring shades of grey at the end of day
These are scenes each day, the reality of the universe
While birds and beings rush past to roost and rest
I thank for having yet another alluring day!
To see the beauty of the sun setting in the sea.
Look for yet another day in this beautiful world !
