Poem Artwork

The sea and the sky  become one somewhere

I went for a walk at a sandy beach  early

It was  dark but   dawn was on the hurry

The stars  twinkled and the moon shined

At the hour when darkness was quietly waning

The morn with its magical beauty awaited its turn

To wield its wand over the big wide world

Then the day marches on bright, cheerful, loud and crowded

Little by little the dark night  bowed out

To return same time soon it vowed

The glimmer of the  light of the morn still on

With quick steps,  I moved

the vast stretch of flowing sand by the shore

Bare foot  absorbed  the moisture beneath

The soft  sandy wetness freshly washed ashore

The shine of the white grainy  sand

 With  richness of mineral reserves

Feel it working up  my nerves

As waves went around the feet and murmured

Ripples of water , it danced and splashed

Soon appeared the blue white beautiful glaze in sky

Misty  sky spreads on its blush  to the sea

So peaceful and calm, silent and serene

I glanced at the sea. it seemed to reach up to  sky

At some point the two wish to just become one

I walked on to greet  calm and gentle morn

I always find beginnings and endings of days stir my deepest thinking...
These words truly mesmerised me....I could feel the sand between my toes, the unique aroma of a new day just beginning....we get those chances to enjoy Nature every single day...in one way or another...
What a wonderful world....!!!

Nothing more poetic than a beautiful place with a beautiful day coming on. With your writing, I savor such peaceful times.

Oh, so very nice. I can feel the sand. I love the 'to wield its wand over the big wide world.' What a great way to put this.

Such absorbing poetry to start my day. Your walk was low key thrilling, and tha is good. I have just returned from my early morning walk with my friend and companion, Zoe, part Yorkie, part Schnauzer.

A gentle and mesmerizing reminder to
stop and absorb the quiet sights and sounds of nature.
Those who are too busy are...too busy,
Your words are soothing on this cold morning. Many thanks.
