Creatures in the wild live bearing all in the stride

Without a cover, without a coat, screen or weather proofing set

Taking the hit like a boxer’s punching bag

The changing season’s various beats

The numbing snow, the hot raging winds

The pitter patter laughter of  rains

The glare of the summer sun

The pressure of the swelling clouds

Rains bellowing down  flowing thru the  ground

Soaking ,rotting grooves  of plants

The fierce harrowing  hurricane winds

Twisting, turning upside down each wing

At times when earth is hoarse, dry and gapes

Looks up for rains  with an open mouth

Soar and sickening heat sparing none

 Consumed by flames leaping tongues

Barren and abandoned the wastelands cry

Drying twigs, trunk squeal for water of life

Up above frozen mountains show  frosted face

Where life stands still and white like a frozen stone

The story is same for all living things big or small

Sufferings and pain are  costs you pay for being!

Life indeed is the most precious possession for one and all.

A very true and thought provoking poem...To be born we must at some point die...the way we choose to live in this world with all it's myriad risks, happinesses etc. is our choice....nature is always a good teacher..

You summed up the great mystery of life very well. Life is a stubborn holdout that can survive the harshest of conditions, even thrive. We humans with our technological protections, are perhaps, the most vulnerable of all because we have lost touch with base survival and what it means.

To be tossed and torn and battered about
That's partly what life is all about
But to live learn and love
That is so much more
And you tell that story so very well from a distant shore.
Many thanks.

Survival is the game plan for all living creatures and organisms, big or small, stationary or mobile. We are all given the capacity to weather life's troublesome seasons and, if we are strong enough we live to fight yet another day.

We can learn much from Mother Earth, if we only listen to her cries.

I bet we as humans can learn something from these trees. Through the rain, summer, winter and autumn, they remain strong. Life is a bliss but only when lived positively through each season and moment. Very well penned J.K.

Indeed life is our own making. If you think of pain all the time, and not giving a thought to the things that you ought to be happy about, then you'll get pain all your life.

The metaphors in this poem are excellent, beautifully-written, and there are so much we can learn for ourselves. If the nature can do it to survive, and so can we. I really liked this a lot. Thank you Roseline!!
