Everyone on a diet needs one of these.

 THE TALKING SCALE

Starting a new diet,

I stepped up on the scale,

But my weight was too great,

And the scale was too frail.

The springs inside sprung,

There was no way to weigh.

Needing a new scale,

I went shopping the next day.

I bought one of those talking scales,

One that only has nice things to say.

It’s guaranteed not to hurt your feelings,

And leave you in a state of dismay.

I’ve been on my diet for a month now,

And I’ve managed to lose a few pounds.

My talking scale congratulates me,

And I like the way that sounds.

This talking scale’s the greatest,

And you can rest assured,

Always encouraging and supportive,

It sure has a weigh with words.

I hate my scale. What I hate the most is the way it sighs when I step on it.

I don't know how to weigh in on this one except to say… Congratulations for talking your weight down every day. I wouldn't have it any other weigh.

You have just invented something that may actually work on the weight loss. One that may give us hell for eating too much and praise us for being good with our dieting.
