I was dreading this day past Christmas... It could stayed Christmas forever for me. Today my granddaughter moved six hours away.. I wish I could turn back time. But on most occasions I would agree totally with you..))

Well this certainly gives us a gift and that is to ponder our sense of what Christmas means to us as both individuals and families. Very well done William.
Much to ponder within the lines of this write my friend. I must say that I do enjoy the festivities of the holiday...family, dinners, church, plays, shopping...but I also must agree that I am always glad to get back to the routine of daily living. A profound write indeed!

Been given that choice all along, Bill, I respectfully disagree with you on that. Life is all about choices. We are not pushed into attending religious services; we are not forced to go into debt to make someone's Christmas special. You know? Just my thoughts...still, a thought provoker you've penned in short lines of impact.
