Dirty Frog

Son, I’ll sell this to you but I surely hope,
You’ve got a real good reason for this box of laundry soap,

I take it you have really got a dirty job in mind,
You’re a little young for using a detergent of this kind,

“Sir my frog got into motor oil, I gotta wash him up a bit.
“Whoa, wait a minute , try something else, laundry soap might kill it,”

“ No sir , Mom says it’s for delicate clothes and for them that’s thin,
Ol’froggie ain’t that skinny but he does have delicate skin ,

I’ll just give him a light washing and that should do the trick,
That motor oil is dirty and just might make him sick,

Two days later here’s that Boy back in the store again,
Saying, “Froggie didn’t make it, the washing was his end,”

The Grocer said ,”I told you so, That laundry soap is strong,
Washing any kind of animal with it could be deadly wrong,”

“No sir it wasn’t the laundry soap.” “Well what was it then!”
“I think it was the spinning cycle , That finally done him in!”
