Gorilla

Did you hear that Bonzo our Gorilla Passed away,
Oh no! he’s our star attraction And we need one today,

All them school kids are here to see him, Whatta we gonna do?
Hire an actor with a gorilla suit , they’ll think he’s part of the Zoo.

Great idea , we’ll get one that’ll really put on a show
Funny monkey antics and no one will ever know,

They were lucky and found one; he was really quite a clown,
Swinging bar to bar and hanging upside down,

But carried away by the clapping and having too much fun,
He climbed the bars too high , a thing he shouldn’t have done,

Once on top and OH my God! , he slipped and fell into the Lion’s Cage,
A huge male lion attacked him with massive jaws of rage,

About to scream for help though outta breath and tired,
A low voice from the lion’s mouth said, “Shut up or we’ll both get fired”
