Sorry Annie that I hit you, You know I didn’t mean it,
Is there any damage? Well maybe I can fix it,

It’s just some little scratches, there really ain’t a dent,
Yeah I know your folks will worry, but there ain’t nothing bent

It wasn’t much of an impact, just side swiped you some
I really have to watch it, that was really dumb,

You sure you wasn’t injured , boy you cut out just in time,
Not sure that I could do it , you turned it on a dime,

I’ve gotta watch my temper I know it’s getting bad,
Johnny Waters cut me off and really made me mad,

That’s when I bumped him from the rear, to show him I would fight,
I didn’t care then if he wrecked it, that would serve him right
,
He cut back over and almost stopped right there in front of me,
I almost tried to run him down, but that was when you see,

I cut around him swerving right and barely hitting you,
I’m sorry Annie you’ve got to believe I did all that I could do,

I wish this never happened , it never did before ,
I’ed bust ol’Johnny in the mouth to even up the score,

But our first Grade teach will sure get mad and take away our fun,
He’ll lock up all tricycles and our racing days are done!
