An unusual race for the New year's celebration as told to me. I merely attacked it with poetry .

Ol”Dobbin’s Race

Horse Is running, too damn fast,
But that one in front I cain’t get passed

What is this some kind of a race,
I hope I can keep up with this pace ,

On the left a drop off, a death defying scare,
Must be some kind of a cliff , don’t wanna be going there,

Damn there’s an elephant racing on my right,
We’re chased by a lion, one hell of a fright!

Come on Dobbin run for your life,
I got no rifle , I got no knife,

Somebody’s playin music, too loud and sharp,
Don’t know what, hope it ain’t no harp,

Cain’t turn around, I’d sure like to see.
If that big ol’lion is gaining on me,

Come on Dobbin, you’re better than fair,
He couldn’t make it, the lion was still there,

Suddenly ol’Dobbin began running real slow,
I beat him and screamed but he just wouldn’t go,

A man came yellin, Get your butt down!
We don’t allow drunks on our Merry Go Round!!!
