The self worship of our govt. officials is always a very important issue.

Long Winded

Tonight folks Our Senator from Washington is here,
He’ll bring you up to date on this emergency we fear,

There’s a lot of ,speculation we’ve all had to endure,
But with him , You’ll be impressed , of that I am sure,

As this politician, told how he had come so far,
Two of the council members headed for the bar,

Almost one hour later another member shuffled in,
Said I saw you leaving and wish that I had been,

Well what’s he got to say that’s taking all this time,
Is it about our taxes or our government crime?

Is it about any money our county here might get,
No he’s still on his introduction, hasn’t got to the subject yet !
