Beautifully, succinctly, and poignantly expressed. What horrid must be like to be in a war zone with buildings collapsing all around you. Bad water and no food. Cold at night and a hot sun during the day. No place to run to.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But like you wrote, Mars rules that has for very long time. To the victor go the spoils and to hell with the victims. The murderers of war are only doing their righteous duty and cannot be held accountable for those they murder--yet.
