I know this is just plain silly, but one time I re-wrote some nursery rhymes to use as little skits. This is one of them. Remember Wee Willie Winkie, who ran through the town in his nightgown, checking to see if the children were in bed? Here's why:
You see, Willie had insomnia;
That's why he roamed the street,
And the cause of Willie's sleeplessness
I hardly dare repeat!
For his nightgown was a bit too short,
resulting in cold feet!
Willie checked the town,
then ran back home,
and flipped the TV channels,
But he could have cured his insomnia
just by wearing his warm red flannels.
