If you go strolling in the Valley of Beracah, you may come across a very special garden.
In a secret kingdom, discreetly hidden in forest depths, there is a rainbow garden, planted by a certain man to manifest his ever-growing love for the woman he cherishes in his heart.
The deep green branches of the Pines are lifted in reverent adoration. Maples, Oaks and Dogwoods spread wide their leaves to garner the triumphant offerings of the sun, sifting downward through their branches to warm the forest floor.
A short distance from their verdant canopies, myriad buds and blossoms turn expectant faces heavenward. The divine symphony of nature's choir blends multi-colored voices to the One True God, Creator of heaven and earth. And I, insignificant human observer of these mysteries of orchestral magnificence, revel in the wonders He has wrought.
An open door, a few short steps, and I may enter that wondrous garden, where God is waiting for a peaceful tryst. My thirsting soul quickens when I see His footprints on the path, His hand of mercy bidding me to draw nearer. There, in a forest garden, I add my praises to the rustling chorus of creation, and worship the God I love.
You see, I am that woman and my dear husband is the planter of that garden, but the Creator and Sustainer of all nature, our Almighty Lord and God is the Master Gardener, "who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment."
"He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God....." (Psalm 40:3)
from John 15 - "I AM the true vine and my Father is the gardener.....I AM the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
