April is very welcome. She may bring rain, but we all love the May flowers that follow close behind.
Timidly April pauses On the portico of Spring. Though she's envious of May, Her own sweet fragrance she brings; From evening mist at twilight To morning droplets of dew, Gently thawing frozen earth, Colors of Spring to endue. Hidden streams' carefree ripples Promise a summer of bliss As softly-sprinkled raindrops Waken each bud with her kiss. The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 28:12 NIV (Promise of the Lord to the children of Israel if they would remain faithful to Him)

Like April, herself, so beautifully expressed and awaited.
