Fight or Flight?
Heed the clarion’s call
and. . . .
Strive to endure the insanity of this moment in time
Of the ear-splitting volley of AK’s
Of the thuds of bombs a shatter
Of the echoing of rockets in whistling concerto
Of nerves a tatter
And in the sudden silence of reckoning
(Finger on the trigger and
selector switch to rock ‘n roll)
Seize the moment in a mad minute
Of controlled frenzy
