here and there are places,
that I use a lot.
one is a place I am,
the other, I am not

there can be pretty far,
or it can be close by.
and there can even disappear
when I go bye-bye

if I go for a walk
to the place called there,
how is it I end up
being here not there.

so I told my here to stay
when I left to go,
but lonely here showed up there
and why I do not know

I just can't understand why
a here will go to there,
but there always runs away
from here to over there.
