No filet for me today cows are tough and chewy Or a fish, on my dish they are stinky phewy
Not a ham, or a lamb they are dirty wooly Don't you dredge, up a veg they don't fill me fully
And I am, tired of spam fried or otherwise Canned potatoes or tomatoes I equally despise
The confetti of Spahgetti needs too long a slurp And it's clear, that Root Beer always makes me burp
I know it's cute, to eat fruit for the healthy juice It isn't neat, the way I eat I'd call it self abuse
It's likely that you noticed I'm not very fat My backbone has replaced where my tummy's at My cheekbones point outwardly my skin is drawn and tight If my eyes were big and red I'd be a bright stop light I passed for skinny pounds ago I'm lighter than the air If my bones disappeared I'd be a pile of hair
So if you are a cookin I don't care what you're carvin 'cause I doubt you'll satisfy The finicky Starvin Marvin
LOLOL, this is an exceptional piece, Rusty-friend. The rhyme and rhythm are right on, as is the gleaming humor I've come to expect from your work. A fun and gifted poem!

CJ
I think you have cloaned one of the children in my classroom, you've described him perfectly....I loved your write espcially the line If my bones disappear I'd be a pile of hair...love it...needed a smile on my lunch break....

Well you leave the cook little choice. Perhaps juice? Have an angus fillet. It tastes very good. Victor
