We use them all day long but do we really stop and think about them?
Funny thing. I was looking at my hand, I don’t know why, but I was. Pretty complex engineering I would say. Course we humans screw up everything, not using what we have to its highest and best use.
There’s little pinkie holding little rings and primly held at proper place at proper parties of a proper tea and we know how important that is.
Next comes the real ring finger. Well, that’s where we put the ring that signifies commitment to the lovey of your life. How’s that working for you ring finger? Fifty percent? Kind of like flipping a coin, huh?
Up one is old tall man, long John. Everything kinda rotates around him/her. Course his/her claim to fame is a vulgar, insulting sign. You coulda been so much more, a real contenda.
In the lead is the pointer, the leader, shows you the way, up, down, accuses and can wiggle a scolding come here. He/She always lets you know who is numero uno and has enormous importance in a wet willy
I guess my favorite digit is the good old opposable thumb. Without that little baby you really can’t get the stubborn boogers.

Damn, if you don;'t put a finger on it... in it... er, sometplace, that is... Enjoyed your survey... original thinking here... but, don't let that get out of hand! - Bill
I actually find that the pinkie gets those big chunky boogers pretty damn well, as they fit further up the nasal cavity without twising or turning...& I already examined my hands once when I was on acid, what a mind bending experience that was...e
LOLOLOL, you really are something, Mr. Daily! Your zany sense of humor always has me in stitches and right about the time I think I've figured you out, KAZZAM! You deck me again with one of these zingers. I applaud you, sweet poet man! Excellent!

Oh the ending is perfect and I loved the poem clever witty and full of humor...... Rusty :)
The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
Well done!!
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
