He doesn’t bark and he doesn’t bite or yeowl outside late at night He doesn’t shed on my clothes or slop his tongue on my nose Don’t have to walk him twice a day He never wants to run and play The best thing I like about my pet I never take him to the vet If he dies I take my brave little pet fishy to a porceline grave I’ll get another just like him I sure hope this one knows how to swim

Too funny, Rusty--we can't have pets where we live, so I have a toy kitty who looks REAL sitting in my front window. Sure plays havoc with people and landlord *grins*. Well done, my friend!

Excellent write, Rusty-friend. The humor is perfect here. My grandchildren are allergic to pet dander and have recently acquired some fish in an aquarium. Hope they don't end up praying over the toilet ... Swimmingly good poem!!

Hi Rusty, you should have taken your pet to a vet. Fish in aquariums develop all kinds of diseases especially fungus. I used to have many aquariums and they take a lot of time to care for. Victor
